First day, First look of Himalaya..

Why I went there?

It was not on a touristry purpose. I went there for some official work. Travelled and stayed for around 2 weeks.
Well, Don't expect I stayed in a tent and there were daring episodes. Most of the time we stayed in Tourist Rest Houses by Kumaon Tourism, which was clean and affordable..

This was our route map, covered almost entire Kumaon Himalaya.

Check out a small video of the Himalayan roads

What I liked there??

1. The meandering roads through the mountains..

2. The hot & fresh maggie at maggie points

3. The Serene & Peaceful Temples

Jageshwar, a group of 100 temples which were at a walkable distance from the place where we stayed in .

5. The foggy evenings

6. The bridges

7. And the streams flowing beneath the bridges

8. And the waterfalls

9. And the stay near the waterfalls

The TRH in Birthi we stayed can be spotted just right side of the waterfall, with orange roofs.. Could you spot it??
